Despite Thriving's size, it is a lightweight brooch suitable for both inner and outerwear. Due to the large size of the container, however, it has room to be made much heavier depending on what is stored inside. This brooch can easily fit about 25 bobby pins.

Many prismatic wire forms extrude from the side of the compartment, referencing its shape. Two small hexagons are soldered onto the piece; one acts as the catch that clicks the body and lid together, and the other emphasizes a 3mm sky blue topaz. The brooch can be positioned on a garment straight up, or tilted sideways so that the body and extrusions form a V, giving the brooch a little more dynamism.
