At the Core
Sterling Silver, Quartz Druzy
Pendant - Locket
55 x 55 x 30 mm
2016

The palm-sized pendant is composed of three main parts: an outer ring, an inner ring, and a locket. The inner ring spins in the outer ring, and the locket spins in the inner ring. This allows the hexagonal locket to be positioned face-forward, edges-forward, or somewhere in between. When face-forward, the locket can be opened up to reveal a black quartz druzy. This glittering stone inside is meant to be a little secret the wearer keeps with the locket.
The piece is made entirely of sterling silver, aside from the stone. The pendant sits on a long snake chain which places it about mid-torso. It closes at the back with a toggle clasp formed out of circles that mimic the pendant's rings.
